This is how people spend Summer in New York especially weekends; start with a fab brunch with friends, then move to a brunch after party which normally starts around 5 pm and which on most cases doesn't end until 3am or 4am in the morning. New York is typically a different world during summer.
So this past Saturday my friends I got together for a brunch at Chef Roble's Everyday People brunch at Rivington Hotel. The moment I got off the car and stepped into the place I realized I knew almost everyone there. The place was packed, a lot of Africans in the Diaspora (but of course! ). It was so great seeing all familiar faces including all of my old friends there. Chef Roble's brunch is once a month thing where all the hot fashionistas and who is who in New York go to have a taste of his cooking.
After the brunch, I stayed for about an hour for the after party which Chef Roble was hosting next door, then made my way out to Dream hotel for Lavo brunch after party. I love summer in New York
