Here is my last outfit for day 8 of New York fashion week fall 2011. My last show was Lamb Fall 2011 collection so I thought why not carry my Lamb oversize clutch that I bought almost four years ago. I am wearing an asymmetrical draped dress by Blayde, Zara top, American Apparel disco pants, Guess OTK boots, Lamb clutch, ABS cuff and YSL ring. Initially, I wanted to wear an all black outfit but I ended up throwing a white Zara top over my dress because I didn't want to wear a jacket. There you have it. So what do you think of my Fashion Week get ups??

After perusing through runway photos over at style.com and nymag.com, I noticed there was not that much diversity on the runway over in London. Congrats to all the Black Girls who walked at London Fashion Week Fall 2011. By the way ,I love Nyasha Matonhodze (in black and red dress). I see her going places.
All I can say is Lamb Fall 2011 show was a great way for me to end my fashion week for Fall 2011 season. Everything about this show was absolutely amazing. It was a full house. The collection was broken into six groups; Soldier Girls, Ragga Muffins, London Girls, Buffalo Girls, Mod Girls, and Glamour Girls. Each group had its own theme music. The show started out with Solder girls who came down the runway in military and mens wear inspired looks such as menswear shirts, cropped pants, trench coats, shearling aviator jackets , cool aviator shades and head scarves. The color palette for this group was mostly army green and khaki
Next up was the Ragga Muffins girls group with all black models wearing beautiful colors and prints, flowy chiffons, knits and oversize caps. Continue reading

I just came across this video of models taking the final walk at the David Tlale runway show and thought I should share it with you . I am still wowed on how long the runway was. Just the whole idea of people sitting on the bridge to watch a fashion show is incredible. I love the fireworks at the end. Only David can do this! Watch the video and tell us what you think!
Love my new cape from Mint Vintage Store. It is from 1952. Wore it for the first time on day 7th of New York Fashion Week (Wednesday). I wore it over a Zara t-shirt and Alexander Wang skirt. Completed my look with Lanvin for HM leopard pumps, Zara scarf worn as a turban and LV make up bag. Pssss...... Thanks to all my readers who came up to me at the tents and said hi. You guys rock!
Trust me, it's always nice to see diversity on the runway. Congrats to all the Black Girls who walked at New York Fashion Week Fall 2011. Photos: Style.com & Nymag.com
A little inspiration from Michael Kors Fall 2011. Great cuts, furs, tall boots, double cuffs, pencil skirts with thigh high slits. I am inspired. Photos: nymag
