Craving for a great draped jersey dress for summer. Something similar to the one on the collage above. Talking about easy summer look that is simple, sexy & elegant. The leopard print sandals add a nice fun touch too.
My friend is here visiting from Tanzania and yesterday I took her shoe shopping. This is what she got; a pair of Valentino, a pair of Christian Louboutin and a pair of Jimmy Choo. Too bad she is not my size. Continue reading
I am wearing one of my favorite knits in my closet at the moment from H&M trend. I actually got it late last year before it went on sale and it has been hanging in my closet waiting for the right moment. Urgh, if only I knew it was going to go on sale I would have waited and bought for way less. Anyway, it doesn't matter now. I love it, I love red and plus the side cut-outs makes it so appealing that I could not resist when I first laid my eyes on it. It kind of reminds me of Celine -ish / Alexander Wang- ish. It's also a bit too thick, perfect for a cold New York weather. No need of a coat or jacket.
Complete Outfit: H&M trend red knit, Gucci scarf and hobo (ok before you say anything about the bag , just know I bought it like five years ago when logos were still the ish), Bebe jeans, Jessica Simpson OTK (borrowed), Jimmy Choo sunnies and rings are from BCBG Generaration. More images here

The most highly anticipated collabo; Jimmy Choo for H&M collection hits stores today. You wont believe I woke up early (7am) so that I could be a part of it. When I arrived at the store( 7th ave and 34st) which was around 9 am there was a long queue going around the block. Eager customers had been camping outside H&M in the cold winds and rain since 11 pm last night. Before the doors opened H&M staffers passed out Krispy Kreme donuts to customers waiting in line .
Within 10 minutes after the doors opened I was in. Gosh it was pure madness. People were pushing and grabbing as much as they could hold. Honestly, I felt out of place, and didn't know what to do at first. You should have seen me, I looked like a lost child! But good thing the were staffers there who very well organized and able to assist customers.
This is how the shoe and accessories section looked like. Mind you we were not supposed to take pictures. Fashionistas were given color-coded wristbands, allowing them entrance to the shoe section in 15-minute increments. I had no wristbands because I got there late and there was no way I was gonna be there for two to three hours for the next group which was schedule for 12:15 to get in. So I played nice and got three customers to get me one item each. Very nice people, they made my shopping experience a lot more easier than I thought.
Here are the the three items I scooped. The line was limited to one item per style which I think was a great idea for late comers. I was not planning to buy shoes, I didn't think they were unique enough for me, there just alright. I love the studded belt, and the two clutches. I like the quality of the products too. I am glad I went there , it was worth it.
