A quick check in before I step out. The last few days have been a bit crazy for me. A lot going on at the moment but not to worry, I promise I will be back before you know it. I am sure you are all aware of all the festivities going on in New York City right now. The Clinton Global Intiative, UN Summit plus the Fashion 4 Development 2nd Annual First Ladies Luncheon which was yesterday (will post images here soon). Interesting time to be around NYC. Anyway, above is one of the many outfits pictures from the archives that did not make to the blog; Burnt orange blazer from Zara, Joe Fresh chambray tunic, H & M white skinnies and ElieTahari kitten heels.
By the way, I think I am getting tired of the braids. I am thinking of something new, a new hair do. What would you suggest I should try ? Is there any interesting hairstyle out there that you think might look good on me? I am open to try anything new as long as I don't look crazy. Help!!!!!
This is my look for NYFW Day 4; I wore my new fave vintage dress and these very comfortable pair of Miu Miu sandal heels that you have been seeing me wearing around a lot lately. The heels are very comfy and go pretty much with everything in my closet. I completed my look with the pile of colorful beaded bangles on both wrists from Tanzania, Fulani earrings and LV make up bag as a clutch. See more images here
Darlings, it's Fashion Week! Well, Fashion Week kicks off tomorrow officially, but for some of us it started today. Today, I had two events on my schedule, one being the Style Awards which I couldn't make it because the line at the credentials pick up office was so long. Some people were there waiting for a little over 2 hours. By the time I got mine the red carpet was packed with press, there was no more room and they were not letting anyone else in. So, I made my way out to Pier 57 for DL 1961 Premeum Denim SS2013 show (see the video from the previous post). Tomorrow I have Nicholas K as my first show, to be followed by BCBG Max Azria. At 3pm I will be catching Arise African Icons collective show. Super excited!

What do you guys think of the new Louis Vuitton collection with artist Yayoi Kusama? The new collection which is in the stores now includes an extensive range of shoes, bags, dresses, and scarves, all reflecting Kusama’s distinctive aesthetic.
A few days ago, I stopped by the New York City flagship on 57th & 5th just to witness the first global window installation and also check out the new dot- covered bags first hand. If you ask me, I think the collection, especially the bags and shoes look kind of cute in a way because of the colors but cheap and too plasticy.Continue Reading
I can't believe Christmas is just around the corner. Have you guys done any shopping yet? I am still working on mine. So here are some images of the many outfit looks that I took last month but was not able to post here on the blog on time. I am wearing one of my fave coat from H&M. I absolutely love the cuts / style of this coat, so chic. The only problem is that the coat is not warm enough for the cold weather. I wore it over an oversize knit also from H&M and Bebe denim. I completed my look with a pair of Christian Louboutin heels, Louis Vuitton make up bag as a clutch and a pink bangle. Xoxo
It's Black Friday ! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. I spent mine with friends and family in Bayonne, New Jersey. Today I am just gonna stay indoors and work on my stuff. I normally don't shop on Black Friday. If you are out shopping today I say Kudos to you. Good luck getting a parking spot, dealing with long lines and crazy customers.
